PHILIPSON SONA: He is currently posted as Deputy Director of People’s Action for Development (PAD) Organisation.
Philipson has done his Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Bosco Institute under Dibrugarh University, Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). He has worked on issues related to Plantation Labour Act 1951 (PLA) , Education etc.
Philipson was a Advocacy Liasoning Officer of the Project of Trans Boundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) supported by Oxfam India, and Project Coordinator of Access and Quality Education of Adivasi Children supported by Aide et Action South Asia. And presently he working as an Deputy Director cum Project Coordinator of “Strengthening Resilience: Sustainable Adaptation to Climate Change in Flood-Affected Areas of Assam through Multi-Sectoral Prevention and Adaptation Mechanisms and Advocacy”. Monoj Gogoi, joined PAD in December 2020, is a post graduate in English from Gauhati University and since 2003, he has been contributing news, articles, research articles on various English and Assamese newspapers (Eastern Chronicle, Seven Sister’s Post, Eastern Sentinel, Dainik Agradoot etc); also worked in news channels (News Time Assam, DY 365). He still contributes book chapters, columns to various web portals etc. Monoj Gogoi works independently in some of the issues related to Climate Change, Water, Agriculture and Rural Economy etc in the state of Assam. Earlier, he worked with Aaranyak, Guwahati and also a consultant for a year in a project “Himalayan Climate Change Adaptation Programme (HICAP)” implemented by Aaranyak and ICIMOD.
Manuel Aind is an Arts Graduate (Political Science) from Sankardev Mahavidyalaya under Dibrugarh University. He also did his Diploma in Automotive Engineering from George Telegraph Institute of Automotive Engineering.
Arun Kongari has been working as one of the field coordinators in this PAD’s project. This 22-year youth did his Bachelor of Theology from Kerala, a southern state of India. Before joining PAD he worked with Samajik Vikash Kendra (CFI) for Teaching.
